About the studio.
Dom Labs is a tech publication and lab. We write down what we learn, we build the tools we think should exist, and we take on the work that brings other people’s ideas to life.
Behind the name is Johnnie, a builder in Lagos working with AI. Powerful tools, and a belief that technology should reach everyone willing to reach for it. That belief runs through everything here: the blog, the lab, the client work. Every project follows the same pattern: find something powerful locked behind a wall, and build the door through it.

The sites and products the AI lives inside. Marketing sites, product surfaces, editorial platforms, e-commerce. Built in Next.js, designed from the first wireframe, tuned until Lighthouse says 95 or higher. No template with your logo dropped on it — something that earns the click, keeps the visitor, and makes you want to send the link to people.

The process
Four steps. No discovery phase that bills for itself.
Step 01 / Read
We read everything you have already written: docs, codebase, repos, decks, brand guidelines. Day one is silence on our end. We come back with a one-page summary before Figma ever opens.
Step 02 / Shape
We sketch the system two ways: one conservative, one ambitious. Clickable prototypes, not slide decks. You choose between two real things, not two pitches.
Step 03 / Ship
We build in your repo. Every pull request is reviewable. Every Friday, a five-minute video of what is new. No mystery sprints. No big reveals.
Step 04 / Hand off
We document so you do not need us. A runbook that works, a README that earns its keep, and 30 days of follow-up. After that, you call because you want to.
